Ingenuous/ingenious

Hi, Hello.

It has to be said that it is rather ingenuous of him to let a complete stranger to look after his luggage.

Is the word 'ingenuous' disapproving?

Can I use 'pretty much ' with a verb directly? For example: I pretty much like her.

Thanks a lot.
