gud afternoon dear sir /mam

i m student of mba but my english is very poor . first of all i want to ask you where we use word like ( get,got) my means i always unable to use these word beacuse there are many sentances which makes by using these two word i want to ask that where and when we use this two word . and my second question is i want to become good speaker what should i do for that . and what should i do for improving my vocab pls pls help me

Hello

Just want share this experience. I hope it would work with you.

This works for me when I learn new words: start reading from short to long paragraph in correct English (which you could easily find in English textbooks).

While reading,:

1, Circle new words.

2, Try to guess the meaning of those words.

3, Think of what the whole sentence means.

4, If you can't figure out the words and the sentence, leave it highlighted or circled.

5, Then continue to read on the next sentence (because the next sentence might give you an idea to understand the previous one)

6, Keep doing the guessing, circling, higlighting and reading on till end of the paragraph.

7, When you read the whole paragraph, play a game of guessing a reasonale idea of it. You may figure out what some new words possibly mean.

8, Use the dictionary now to check if you guessed it correctly.

My experience is that when you get familiar with a word by guessing it correctly, you could memorise it easier. (Rather than looking up into the dictionary everytime you see a new word, right? That would make you bored somehow).

Reading articles, paragraphs, stories... is a wonderful way to learn a language. You could find the joy of reckoning an idea of what you read. Though that, you could learn English effectively.

Another tip on spelling. Notice and write the word correctly from the start, to the second time, to the third time,... until you are always sure you wrote correctly. By the way, if your name should be 'information' instead of 'infromation', then this is just a reminder to check your spelling again.
