Infrastructural work

Hi

In the Acknowledgments the author wrote:
Thank you to Lionel Peter Church, Gregg Boggs, Kaia
Van Zandt, Candice Csaky, and Brandon Jennings, who
did so much infrastructural work to make this possible (I think by "this" he means the book).

--- What does he mean by "infrastructural work"? What did they actually do?

*** only knows. Infrastructure, as anyone with access to a dictionary can tell you, is the basic stuff needed to keep things going. In real terms, it is roads, electric power distribution, sewers, etc. The writer coined "infrastructural" without letting us in on the joke.
