Inform + wh-

Hi,

"People don't just have the right to know about such incidents according to the constitution and the media law – it is also dangerous not to be informed where fighting is going on," he said.

Can I add "of" in front of "where"?

Thanks in advance

Hi, You could say 'of'. Or 'about'. But it's OK as written with no preposition.

I wonder what the writer means by 'the media law'? ( I'd say 'laws'. )

I'm not aware of any laws that tell the media specific things that they must inform people about.
