Inform sb of sth? inform sb that? inform sb about sth?

Dear All,

I was wondering if inform sb of sth, inform sb about sth and inform sb that... have the same meaning. Are the following sentences correct?

A: What did she inform you of?
B: She has informed me that she wouldn’t be able to make it to/for the class.
-She has informed me about not being able to make it to/for the class.
-She has informed me that she wouldn't be able to make it to/for the class.

Yes, they do.

A: What did she inform you of?


B: She informed me that she wouldn’t be able to make it to the class. — I suppose that 'for' is possible, but 'to' sounds much more usual to me.
