0Hi Mr. Micawber, Thanks for the reply. But it is confusing that the ****. 'me' following the verbs convince,encourage, and allow could be seen as the direct object of the verb and I can't say the same for the others. For instance, when 'He convinced to take the money' doesn't make any sense, an expression like 'He told to take the money' seems acceptable. I mean, it is 'to take the money'
