Infinitive

Hello,

The following sentences are to be joined using infinitive.

1. He has five children. He must provide for them.

( I am not able to understand the meaning the above sentences. However, I have tried it)
A. He has five children to provide for them.

2.He formed a resolution. It was to the effect that he would not speculate any more.

I don't know the rules for joining the sentences like (2).

A. He formed a resolution not to speculate any more.

3. Everyone should do his duty.India expects this every man.

A. India expects every man to do his duty.

4. He collects old stamps even at great expense. This is his hobby.
A.It is his hobby to collect old stamps even at great expense.

5.I have no aptitude for business. I must speak it out frankly.
???

6. He was desirous of impressing his host. So he was on his behaviour in his presence.
