Infinitive

Hi,

A: John thinks (that) it is easy to get a hundred on the test.

B: John thinks it easy to get a hundred on the test.

Is there any difference in meaning?

As for 'B', the understood subject of the infinitival clause has to be co-referential with the subject of the main clause. Correct? What about 'A'?

I'd appreciate your help.

Not to me. It could be a generic subject like 'people'. The same goes for A.
