It would be appreciated if you could let me know the meaning of "industry lead in security."

After looking up words in the dictionary, I think the expression is " a piece of information" in security
or the "advancement" in security. Still, I am not sure.
What do you think of this to the eyes of the native speakers?

It is not particularly good English. "Industry lead in security" states that they are the best in the security aspects of their products and services. They are better than their competitors.

Their Note 7 cell phone was very hot. In fact it would spontaneously go up in smoke. I don't know if that was a security feature or not.
