Induce, bring about

Hi,

1) "Some candles have a specific smell to induce/bring about/create a good atmosphere."

Could 'induce' and 'bring about' be used instead of 'create'?

2) What do you call it when you have a slightly lower temperature? I think that 'hypothermia' is too strong a word for that.

Thank you.
