Indirect speech (6)

The same question

Direct speech: Last night (1)
Indirect speech: The night before = the previous night = a night before = a previous night =the night earlier = a night earlier. (2)

Thanks

I'd only choose "the night before" and "the previous night". Anyway, it has to have the definite article, since "last night" was the night before today, not just any.

Thanks.

How about your opinion about:

Direct speech: A night ago =one night ago

Indirect speech: The night before = the previous night = a night before = a previous night =the night earlier = a night earlier. (2)

Tung Quoc, I don't think you would say "a night ago". That's "last night"
