Indirect speech

Hello everyone,

Is it OK to change the time expression "tomorrow" into either "next day" or "following day" when we change a direct speech into indirect as follows?

Eg. He said "I am going to visit you tomorrow.".

- He said that he was going to visit me next day.

- He said that he was going to visit me following day.

Regards,

JA
