Hello everyone,
Is it OK to change "You" into "I,We,They,She, and He" in the following direct speech?
Eg. The teacher said "You are clever.".
- The teacher said that I was clever.
- The teacher said that we were clever.
- The teacher said that they were clever.
- The teacher said that she was clever.
- The teacher said that he was clever.
Regards,
JA
