Indirect Speech

Hello,

I was wondering if the following two sentences were both correct grammatically ?

"I was wondering if you guys are working or have a plan to work on this problem"

"I was wondering if you guys were working or had a plan to work on this problem"

Thanks

Thanks.

So it is not required that the verbs tense in the IF statement accords with the first clause (I was wondering)

OK if you are asking about a situation that 'exists' right now.
