Adverbs and adverbial phrases of time change as follows:
1/Direct: Yesterday, a day ago, one day ago. Indirect: The day before, the previous day, a day before, a previous day.
(That means the indirect forms of "yesterday" , " a day ago" , "one day ago" are either "the day before" or "the previous day" or "a day before" or " a previous day" Ex: Direct speech:He came yesterday = He came a day ago =He came one day ago. Indirect speech: He said he had come the day before =He said he had come the previous day =He said he had come a previous day = He said he had come a day before)
2/ Direct: Tomorrow,a day later, one day later. Indirect:The day after, the following day, the next day, a day after, a following day, a next day.
3/ Direct: the day before yesterday,2 days ago. Indirect: 2 days before, 2 previous days.
4/Direct: The day after tomorrow, in 2 days, 2 days later. Indirect: In 2 days' time, 2 days after, 2 following days, 2 next days.
