Indirect question

Hello,

I am supposed to change this question:
"Are you having a holiday soon?"
into a direct question which starts with "Do you know."

I did it in this way:
"Do you know if/whether you are having a holiday soon?"
and checked the answer in the key.

However, the key gave me this answer:
"Do you know if you will be having a holiday soon?"

Can you please explain to me why there is a different tense?

Thank you
