Indifference/through-line

Hi

"During the concert I encouraged our audience to take part in the campaign and make poverty history. It's amazing the roar that would rise up, because people want to be a part of that, and they feel they are a part of that, part of the generation that can actually turn the supertanker of indifference around. And so the show developed a very clear through-line."

--- I understand that these people had an impact, they could fight with indifference and have an influence on reality. And during the show they knew (the audience) how to play their own role. (through-line).

cheers

I'd interpret it as the show was the spine for all this to occur. The show made the audience realize they could make a difference. That's how I see it.
