I think it sounds better if you say "Indian" instead of "India."

'India' and 'administration' are both nouns, and a noun shouldn't modify another noun. To make it straight, we can change the noun 'India' into an adjective-- 'Indian'.

Hello , Rishonly,

A noun shouldn't modify another noun.

Somtimes a noun does modify a noun. e.g

1. This is a kitchen wall.

Here both kitchen and wall are nouns only, but kitchen does modify the noun wall.

Hi,

I think it sounds better if you say "Indian" instead of "India." Yes, I agree. We say 'the British Army', 'the Chinese government'. It sounds better, although I'd hesitate to say we do it in every possible case.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi Hanuman_2000,

Your question is valid, though. When a noun grammatically acts as an adjective, it can precede a noun.

This is a kitchen wall. -- (Here, the noun kitchen acts as an adjective)

They started controlling India administration--(Here, the 'India' is not an adjecitve, but a noun)
