Indentify the NOUN

I'm studying Grammar at home and can't find a good grammar. I'm a bit dyslexic so I need things well explained and many examples to be abble to understand.
I was doing an exercise that you have to identify the NOUN in the sentence: I got 9 out of 14 :/ can you please help me understand where is the noun and why are they nouns in those senteces:

1:The sun was shining brightly yesterday.
My answer: Sun (because of the Article "the") and shining,
But the correction says that there is only one NOUN in the sentence. :/

2:The bird perched on the branch of the tree singing its beautiful song.
My answer: Bird, branch, tree, beautiful (I think beautiful is wrong am I correct?)
the correction is 4

3:Although Osaka is big, Tokyo is the largest city in Japan.
My answer: big (because I don't know) and Largest (because of the Article)

4:My name's Mark, but you can call me MJ.
My answer: Mark and MJ
The correct answer is 3 Nouns but I have no idea where is the third :/

5:The director of the film Titanic was James Cameron.
My answer: Director, Film, James Cameron
The correct answer is 4 Nouns but I have no idea why? Is Titanic a NOUN?

Is there any easy why to identify the Nouns?
Please if there is anyone that could help me It would be greattt Emotion: smile
Thank you so much for your time!

Okay, you've probably heard the traditional definition of a noun. It is the name of a person, place or thing. (The "thing" can be an idea as well as a physical object).
