Indefinitely vs Infinitely

I saw this in some software comments:
1) the process sleeps indefinitely
2) the process sleeps infinitely

Which one is correct?

Either could be correct. In the first case the process will or should wake up at some point in time but when that will occur is unknown. In the second case the process will never wake up.
