Grammar

indefinite article "a"

Hello, I would like to ask which of these sentences are grammatically correct:

1. - A deep sadness that won' t go away
or
2. - Deep sadness that won't go away

Normally "a" can't be used with an uncountable noun. But "sadness" is an uncountable noun. I've seen the first sentence on the Internet. That's why i'm asking.

Thanks for help

Both are correct. When you say "a deep sadness", you mean "a deep kind of sadness".
