Could you tell me why the author write not 'a leader,' but 'leader' in the following sentence?
Is it just a typo?
I think the 'leader' should be 'a leader' because 'leader' is a countable noun.

Our planet was once a powerful empire, peaceful and just, until we were betrayed by Megatron, leader of Decepticons.
