I'm a store manager and one of my employee is leaving the company and accept another offer outside. I would like to match the salary that has been offered to her and I need to make an increment letter to my district manager for approval. And would like to ask the professional way. Please help.

Thank you.

We don't know your situation, so that makes it difficult for us to write a letter for you. So think about what you would say to the manager in person in say, a formal meeting. Write that down.
