This is my advice: use a good English-English dictionary (Longman, Oxford, Cambridge, etc.) and use it all the time when reading. If the English-English definition is not clearly understood, you can always look up the word or idiomatic phrase in the English-Your language dictionary. Such a method of enlarging one's vocabulary is effective and not so boring. You acquire a new English w
