Essay & Composition Writing

Increasing travels between countries enable people to learn different cultures or to increase tension between people from different countries?

While many people claim that boosting travels between many parts of the world help people to exchange cultures, others may argue that it place some people under pressures. In this essay, I will discuss both view and offer my opinion.

In the first place, the reason why international travelers can understand new cultures is rooted in the fact that they can meet the local people and their cultural heritage. Tourism can help commuters to know about the locals’ personalities, traditional costumes or their culinary cuisine. Therefore, foreigners will experience the feelings in many different circumstances which may interest them. Moreover, besides visiting huge natural international heritage sites, travel enthusiasts can learn about advance technology in developed countries.

On the other hand, conflict can occur when the economy is affected by illegal immigration. When this happens, the number of unemployed people increases due to the fact that immigrants have taken the locals opportunities for jobs and there are no vacant positions available. Those outlaw immigrants, who come from the third world countries, often avoid taxes because they fear to be sent back their countries. In addition, the tension can increase when local residents suffer the risk of dangerous infectious diseases. Through communication, hazardous viruses can be brought from different countries. For example, the corona virus has spread all around the world; the spread of it caused millions casualties and forced many local businesses to shut down. Thus, it takes responsible for the misunderstanding between the locals and travelers.

Although traveling enables people to exchange cultures internationally, it can create conflicts between countries. After the final analysis, I think the advantages of traveling outweighs its disadvantages.
