Increase in pay

Hello everybody. I have written an application for increase in pay. I would like some expert to check it please. Here it is:


Subject: Increase in Remuneration per class.

Dear Sir,

I, ABC, would like to inform you that I have been working with you since September, 2011. During my stay I have tried my level best to deliver the best of my abilities for the uplift of the students as well as of the college. The result of my subject of all the past semesters is a testimony to this fact. I assure you that in future you will find even better cooperation and performance from me.
As you know from the very beginning my remuneration per class is Rs. 600. But now, with the increase in expenses and general inflation, it is very difficult for me to continue my duty for this amount.
In the beginning, as the college was in initial stages, with less enrollment and other expenses, i never requested you about this. But since now the college is becoming stable day by day, I expect and request you to increase my remuneration per class from the existing Rs. 600 to Rs. 800.
It would be a great encouragement for me if you please consider my request. Also this maneuver on your part will serve as a stimulant for me to work harder and deliver the best.
I hope you will consider my request at your earliest convenience and will respond positively.
