Is it correct to increase or rise by an amount or by a percentage.

Last year I charged $1300 an hour. This year I charge $1500
I've increased my rates by $200.
I've risen my rates by $200.

Last year I charged $1000 an hour. This year I charge $3000.
I've increased my rates by 200%.
