Incorrect use of tense in these sentences?

A grammar-checking application I use is adamant that use should be used in the following sentence.

She must have known that I never use Skype. That's why she rang me.

Likewise, in the following, it wants to change don't to didn't

She also knew that I don't answer the phone after 9 pm, so she waited until the next morning to call me.

Is either or both of these two sentences incorrect?
