"Including the USA, 203 nations took part in the London Olympics."

My English teachers in my country and I asked them back and they said that "Including me, Five men love you." is not correct because only subordinate conjunctions such as because, though, etc can be omitted when participle phrases are put at front, but in the example, "and" is omitted. That's why it should be put behind like "Five men love you, including me." Do you agree with
