Including is used as a preposition and then...

I have learned that including is used as a preposition and then I was wondering if I could think the prepositional phrase modifies verbs or not


Including me, five guys like you.


Here, can I asy that 'including me' modifies 'like'?


I've got three days' holiday, including New Year's Day.


Here, can I say that 'including New year's Day' modifies the verb 'have got' like in 'I met him on Monday', 'on Monday' modifies the verb 'met'.


What do you native Englsh speakers think?
