Jay sighed inaudibly/soundlessly, then responded...

Jay: I'm on my way.


Jay is talking to Eve on the phone and he sighs inaudibly/soundlessly so that she doesn't hear it. Are both "inaudibly" and "soundlessly" appropriate to use here?
