The only way to still use make here might be:

I hope you will make it.
(i.e. be able to attend, be there in time)

meet on May 30 at 10:00 a.m in my office.

Why can't I use at?

I will see you at the starbucks at the corner.

Yesterday I stayed over at my friend's house.

For these two sentences above, you have to use at instead of in, right?
