"inappropriateness in the context"
"inappropriateness under the context"

It is inappropriate to search for conflict in/under the context of attempting to resolve another one

under the context of sounds odd to me. Perhaps you are thinking of under the pretext of.

Your whole sentence is to me a little unclear in meaning. Can you say it another way?
