Inapparent vs. unapparent

inapparent
unapparent

What prefix is correct in usage? Are not these prefixes used differently in terms of a other variety of English? BrE or AmE?

Thanks in advance.

Marold What prefix is correct in usage? According to dictionaries, they're both words. I'm not sure which one I would use.

Thank you very much Aspara Gus.

I am forced to concede there might be difficulties to come up with any reasonable sentence (or rather, natural one) with this word. But the thing is that I needed to know the correct prefix for CAE (Word formation) which I've been preparing for.

Inapparent is used in medical contexts (e.g. an inapparent infection is an infection without clinical symptoms)

This forum helped me greatly! I was confused why my word processor was insisting that, "unapparent" was not a word. Here is a viable (and natural) sentence for the word: "As I began talking to this man, the tone of the conversation changed and it became unapparent who was “helping” who in this situation."
Thanks!
