In / within

'Come back in 1 hour" VS. "come back within 1 hour". In this case "in" is interchangable with "within"? Thanks in advance.

It could be, but not necessarily. When we ask someone to come back in an hour, we usually mean that they should return one hour later, and we are often upset if they arrive too soon. 'Within', however, always means between 1 min and 60 min.
