I have a long sentence, but I do not know whether I should break down it with a comma before in which.

My sentence:-
I also worked collaboratively with the Local Design Institutes for a retail project in which I further understand the architectural trend in Japan and experienced the working relationships among the LDI and foreign design consultants.
