Vocabulary

In water vs underwater

Hi

Would you say that these are equally natural?

A frog can live both on land and in water.

A frog can live both on land and underwater.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: A frog and the frog are the same in the given context?

Both are correct grammar but I don't see that #2 is factually correct. Fish can live under water but frogs can't, at least not for long. Clive PS: A frog and the frog are the same in the given context?
