IN vs ON

which are right?

1 She was on 5 episodes

2 She was in 5 episodes (as in she starred in 5 episodes)

3 I'm on episode 5 (does this mean you're watching episode 5 cause that's what it means to me)

4. What episode are you in/on? (does one mean "starring as ian actor and the other "watching"?

ON to me means WACHING

and IN means "starring"

can someone let me know what they think?
