In view of

I courteously request you to re-evaluate my case in view of these situations.

Hi,

I was wondering if the use of "in view of" in the above context was accurate.

I was also thinking " in consideration of" as a substitute but I don't know which one sounds better.

Any opinions from experts would be appreciated.

Ouch! 'In view of' is fine, but the rest of your sentence is not. I would like to ask you to re-evaluate my case in view of this situation/these circumstances .

Thanks for your comment.

Would you mind explaining to me what part of "I courteously request you to" is wrong?

and why "these situations" are not correct?

I courteously request you to -- Besides being a very non-native construction, it is also rude in that it assigns courtesy to oneself (the speaker).

and why "these situations" are not correct?-- Not incorrect, but highly unlikely in my estimation, as a 'situation' is usually an overall environment or atmosphere within which events/circumstances exist.
