"in vacation""during vacation"

Hello, everyone!

I'm Kumiko, teaching English in junior high school in Osaka.

I have a question.

When you say "Did you go anywhere during the vacation?",

can you use "in the vacation" "in vacation" "during vacation" instead?

During vacation = an unspecified vacation

You can replace 'during' with 'on' but not 'in'.
