In unity lies God's blessings.

Hi

Is the sentence below correct? How can I edit to make it "God"-less?

In unity lies God's blessings.

If ***'s blessings are considered a single benefit, then the verb is OK; otherwise, I would have expected plural 'lie'. Remove ***? I think you want more than a lexical change; it would be a major act of denial.

What would you suggest to read the sentences which don't have normal word order such as this one "In unity lies ***'s blessings"? Should one first mentally rearrange it in normal word order and see if the verbs etc. agree?-- Yes. 'In unity' is just a fronted adverb.

Why would it be a major act of denial? -- Eliminating *** from the sentence is denying His existence.
