Neither: "to go back in time" means "to travel back through Time", i.e. into the past.

I'm sorry to be asking this question here, but is it IN time or ON time? I arrived in/on time?

Also, is it IN/ON a picture, IN/ON a photo?

Hello Saska,

1. He arrived in time for the film.

— he arrived before the film began.

2. He arrived on time.

— he arrived at the agreed time.

3. He was in the picture.

— he was present in the picture.

4. He was on the picture.

— he was physically "on" the picture (perhaps he was standing on it).

All the best,

MrPedantic,
Thank you very much for the explanation! Emotion: smile I assume, if it's "in the picture" then "on the photo"- on is the correct

No, it's also in the photo.
