in this powerpoint, the definite article should be/should have been here

Context: now I am giving a presentation, and on the slide I find something missing, which should I say:

In this powerpoint, the definite article should be/should have been here.

I think both are correct; only that the later one emphasizes the state of being completed, but I'm not sure.

I know we can say

The letter should arrive any day now. (OALD)

But can I change ARRIVE to HAVE ARRIVED to emphasize the meaning?

It does not add emphasis; it merely adds temporal confusion for the reader. You can however use this:

The letter should have arrived by now.
