In the timetable

-Sport is no longer so important in the school timetable (= all the subjects that are taught at schools).

1. Can I use ON above?

2. Is it correct to say that if we are physically referring to a piece of paper the timetable is printed on, only ON is possible?

eg On the timetable, I've got two classes today. One is classical semasiology, the other is paleography.
