In the Third Period

Our students will be in Jeff's English Grammar III in the third period today.
You are teaching Grammar III in the third period today.

I think this is quite idiomatic, but should 'in' be 'on' or 'during' instead?

Top answer

Hi, 'In' is fine, in both cases. 'During' is also OK, but it often suggests that there will be other activities as well. eg I will visit London during my trip to Europe.

  • (ie at an unspecifed time in the course of the afternoon) 'On' is not correct.
