Dear Friends
I'd be grateful if you could tell me if the following verse makes any sense. I appreciate your frankness in advance.
This is a translation of a poem composed in 14th century. The poet tries to communicate some sort of philosophical thoughts.
"The world shan't go to ruin, they say,
This is not what we may blink;
On more solid bases, must lay,
A house as great as this, I think."
