But is it possible to say this sentence?

- In the Premiership last Saturday, not any player was sent off. / not any players were sent off.

But is it possible to say this sentence?

No, because not any cannot be used as the subject of a clause and even though your sentence is in the passive voice, not any player is the grammatical subject. T
