In the olden days vs In olden times

Hi

These two phrases are very common in Indian/Pakistani English. Could you please tell me if they would sound OK to you in everyday spoken English?

(said by an angry, old man)

In the olden days, children would respect their elders.

In olden times, children would respect their elders.

Thanks,

Tom

They're both natural and fairly common. I'd say 'In the old days' is more common.
