IN THE OCEAN

Hi,

Are these sentences correct?

"The small island is IN/ON the Pacific Ocean."

"The wreck is ON/AT the bottom of the Pacific Ocean."

Where can I write "AT the bottom" and "ON the botton"? Are they simply interchangable?

Best regards,

Kamil
