In the next time or next time

Hi there

I have some problem with the meaning of two phrases, such as in the next time and next time. The question is when I should use "in the next time" and "next time" or there is no difference at all. Thanks in advance

'in the next time' is wrong dear

next time is correct

you should only use 'next time'

Thanks a lot. I have asked this question because Americans use not only next time, but also in the next time, that's why I was confused:)

Why do you say that Americans use 'in the next time'?

Can you quote a few sentences for us to look at, please?

I see you next time.

May be I'm mistaken, but nevertheless I should find out a correct answer, if it's possible:) Thanks

When Clive asked you for sample sentences. Anon, he wanted you to supply real sentences from native speakers, not sentences that you create yourself, which may just compound your problem. In my part of America (and I've lived in a lot of parts there), we say

(The) next time, I will be ready to discuss this question.

I'll see you next time.

Sometimes when you log in, you have to change your password.

"In the next time" is not a prepositional phrase that native speakers would normally use. The second sentence i

Thanks, Clive, for now I understood "next time" is appropriate. Could you explain the difference "in time" and "on time" and bring some exapmles? Thanks.
